First pic is as bought. It wasn't going, compression was down to 75/85psi. The top crankcase had been ripped apart from an errant chain which also ground away part of the shifter drum bearing mount. The bike came with two sets of wheels, one spoked, the other aluminium mags, both badly oxidised, pitted and with numerous hammer and tyre lever marks.

The bike is now pretty well handmade: Guards have been reshaped, aluminium tail light welded up, aluminium battery carrier welded up, aluminium side panels beaten up and polished, risers and manifolds spun up, brake linkages including clevis made of stainless, hubs trued on the lathe and casting bridges removed, rims ground down to remove gouges, wheels spoked with stainless spokes, PMA conversion, VM carb conversion, single point conversion, exhaust pipes welded up along with clamps and mounting brackets, single seat with cowl welded up, headlight brackets fabricated, billet chain adjusters machined, aluminium brake anchor fabricated, oil cooler fitted, remote spin on filter mount machined, new 10mm aluminium engine mounts all round.

The engine was rebored, new pistons, rings and gudgeons fitted, valves reground, ported, just a little, valve faces polished, stainless Allen's throughout, starter gear spring reshaped, clutch basket grooves smoothed over, new pins for the shifter drum, new cam chain and guides, new gaskets and seals, sump filter guard fabricated, right side cover modified for remote filter, engine cases, barrel, head and rocker cover painted black and side covers, breather box, starter ends, cam chain adjuster, valve covers and dip stick mirror polished.

Nearing the end now, just need to finish off the wiring, fit tyres and mufflers and cover the seat. Although, I may pull it apart and re paint in two pack.
