The previous owner of the TX must have only had a hammer and chisel in his tool box. And he apparently used them with much gusto trying to get the seals out. He managed to break a piece off the top, make numerous gouges and ovaled the seal housing.

Not a lot I could do here except clean them up and make a dolly the same size as the seal, push it in place and gently beat the seal housing round again.

The bike only has one disk but both legs have mounts for callipers, so I cut the left leg's caliper mounts off and ground the area smooth. While I was at it, I also removed the mudguard mount at the base of the legs, the mudguard has been shortened so n o need for these anymore. I then polished the legs.

The stanchions have a little rust on them up around the lower tree, I cleaned the rust off and added gaiter to hide the area. Looks quite all right with gaiters.
