Thread cutting on L565D lathe

Hey folks, new member 1st post. Trying to cut 28TPI thread on my lathe,got a 42 tooth gear to adjust gearing to cut correct thread but can't get a thread indicator table to suit this set up. Machinery warehouse have contacted the lathe manufacturers, but being chinese new year, no luck. I have to use this particular thread as it has to match the already purchased muzzle brake.:((
