9inch Hercus Precision Lathe query

Hi,

I'm new here but I have a question regarding a 9inch Hercus Precision Lathe.

My father has one in his shed, unfortunately he has hit the point in his life where he needs to move to a retirement village. He had been using it for making bits and pieces for restoring cars and model steam trains. He asked me if I wanted it but I have no room for it. Instead I have told him I will sell it for him. I really have zero idea about the lathe and its value or even the best place to advertise it for sale.

I was wondering if someone could let me know the rough value of these, he really doesn't have any interest in the money so I guess I would like to try to move it on as quickly as possible, is just putting it on ebay as an auction worthwhile?
