I have never bolted lathes etc to a concrete floor, but now I wonder if it is worthwhile to do that with relatively light weight machines.
It seems that levelling is imperfect with it just sitting on top of the floor. You lose some control to move in the required direction because of the lack of anchorage.
And I don't like it when I can rock the machine after adjustment. That can't be ideal.
Should I get out the masonary drill?
