Built a little coffee table recently from some Blackwood I milled some time ago.
We need something a bit smaller than the coffee table we had as the room isn’t very big.
Finished with wipe on poly.

Nothing more satisfying than taking a log or some rough timber and turning it into a finished piece of furniture. :2tsup: Tell us about the joinery Cal.

It’s all just laminated panels no joiners, and then dowels at each intersection. Nothing flashy, took a weekend to run it all through the jointer and thicknesser and glue up over the following week, cut and built the next weekend. So it didn’t take long to do.
The rest of the log is set aside for instruments as it’s all quarter sawn, the coffee table is made from the off cuts. Haha!
