Found a post on-line about making the above, so decided to have a go.
Had some strips of pallet-timber left over so cut to length and what I thought was a 10 degree angle, glued together in a semi-circle and cut at 45 degrees on the bandsaw.

Then glued the segments together

Tried turning it, but the endgrain didn't like it.

Repaired the break.

Ended up sanding the bowl to shape

Waxed finish.
