Just wondering if anyone with a mill can help me on a small milling job, in Canberra. It's a shaft key, that needs to be adapted so that it goes into a 3/16" keyway on the motor shaft and 6mm keyway on the pulley. In cross-section, it would look like the letter "T". It's from a bricksaw I need to get running.
I'd do it myself, but it's just chaos in my shed, and I've got to prioritise other DYI stuff than getting my old mill working (the VFD died, needs an adaptor plate, yahdeyah). I don't know what this would be worth -- a six pack beer? Fairly good bottle of red/white?
It'd be a great help, and we'd have common interests (shed stuff) so if you think you could, then send me a PM.
