Hi

I thought I would share a bandsaw box image, it blends the art of bandsaw box making and sculpture.

A tower box, it features carvings of the riverbank habitat of the Platypus, the young being fed in the den and a number of the Platypus' natural predators (not including those who walk upright and often pollute our environment!)

Best Wishes for Christmas 2005 and 2006

Like your box!

The carving of the top section must have taken some time.
It looks good.

Like alot of these "love jobs" there was no strict accounting of the number of hours devoted to the project - I would say the hours invested :) in this box (including the carvings) exceeded 300 hours.
