View Full Version : Ideas for Pole lowering setup for Shed Internet

Hi Guys,
I am brainstorming ideas for a job I want to do soon.
I have Ubiquiti Radios for a wireless connection to my shed for Internet.( Everyone need the 'Net in the shed, don't they?)

The radios are Line Of Site, so I need to use a Hockey Stick mount on the house to get that. Shed side will mount on the gutter.

For convenience for WHEN it fails, I want to incorporate some sort of 'hinge' in the base of the pole, so I can lower the radio to work on it.

The 'Swivel pole' device looks perfect, except they look complicated and time consuming to fabricate.
Radio is not heavy. Pole is approx 1300mm high?

Anybody seen anything that might be suitable?
Steve
