I have a stash of about 5 or 6 cubes of Tassie woods that I will soon be bringing to Melb and stacking in my drive (behind gates with dog :oo: ) but I’m looking for info on protecting said stack from critters such as termites, borers etc.
I’ll stack it on levelled pallets under tarps/ply.
No I don’t want someone to look after it for me.

Purchase a container
Then fumigate the lot
I would never store premium grade timber the way you are suggesting
Higher chance of degrade happening and critter attack(including rodents)
Theft is another issue...don't rely on the dog to protect it.
Containerise it is my advice...
