I need to have a bit of a re-arrangement in my shed as I've purchased a 2-post hoist. My surface grinder is currently on the other side of the shed from where my lathe, mill & shaper are; I'm contemplating moving the surface grinder over near the other machines but I'm concerned about grinding dust on the other machines. How worried should I be? The SG has coolant and a dust collector. Would be nice to have a separate room for all grinding but that's not going to happen.
The necessary reshuffle to fit the hoist in is a pain in the neck but I think it fits squarely into the 'first-world problems' category.
