Getting wheel castings done in Melbourne has been a boon, I had to make pattern extensions for one set to get what we needed. My next project is to make a
set of wheels from the centres I had cast (still in magnesium) for a set of slightly narrower wheels for wet weather tyres for my car. They definitely involve a lot less machining than the 13” rears I recently did!
