Just a brief note to let you all know we're still here:).
Still plenty of stock of good slabs, mostly seasoned, some green, as well as boards. Species list has been posted before and if we don't have what you want on site, we can probably get it here in pretty short order.
Give us a call on 0400 455 705 or 3255 6622 or drop around any afternoon between 4 and 7, or weekends. If you want to be sure of catching us in, make sure you ring ahead.

Cheers,
Craig

I'll do a search but can you post here where you are and the name of the buisness?

Craig from eco-urban timber is a gentleman to deal with and he has nice timber too. i bought some coastal silky oak from him in early december, all from the resaw pile due to space limitations i had at the time. i will be buying more when i go to brizzy next time. just thought everyone would like some feedback from a satisfied customer. http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon14.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon14.gifhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon7.gif Hi Craighttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gif

Gday Doug and Jules, thanks for the kind words. Have you used any of the silky yet?

I'm going to have to find time to come down for a look. Sunday's are probably the best for me. Craig is it best to ring before hand to come down over weekends?

No, just turn up. We should be open just about all weekend most weekends. We're also open most of the time through the week, but you should phone to be sure if you're travelling far, especially with the price of petrol .

The first is a couple of small forest red gums on top of some yellow box, the second is some Japanese oak and the third is more mango. All of the slabs pictured except the silky in pic 1 and the Jap oak are dry enough to use. All have been sticker-stacked for at least 24 months.

Thanks for posting the pics Sam, I keep finding more "important" things to do.
