A few weeks ago I took delivery of a HAPP MC35 Motorbike Electric Hydraulic Lift and yesterday when going about checking all the fasteners I find one of the four bolts that holds the hydraulic pump to the frame wouldn't tighten.
On inspection I see the thread is completely stripped and I ran an M10 x 1.25 tap into the hole and it's not gripping on anything.
I'm wondering with the bolt being an M10 would re drilling the hole for an M11 hole and thread would it have enough thread or would I have to go to an M12 hole and bolt.
With having 2 motorbikes and bilateral knee replacements 12 months ago my days of getting down on the cement to work on the bikes are over, I can get down and up easy enough but I'd rather stand or sit.
