Hello all, this may be a long shot but does anyone have a link or copy of a printable lathe speed/feed slide/dial calculator. I have seen a slide rule style for a milling machine and I have heard there used to be a dial type for lathes.
Yes I know I could print out a chart for the shed. What I would like is to print this on cardboard or engrave on plastic. The variables would be diameter and the material. Idealy it would give two speeds, one for HSS and the other for inserts.
Obviously if you have a ready made one that you are happy to part with I am all ears.
If I cant find one it will be a case of working it out and doing it in printable excel.
A mill one would be handy two. I think clarkson used to make one.
