Hi Guys, I have a project that requires the fastening of 19mm yellow tongue flooring to some lengths of 3mm thick black angle. Just after some suggestions on the best type of fasteners to use. The heads have to be countersunk, or at least flush with the top of the yellow tongue. I was thinking of drilling and tapping the angle M6 and using countersunk cap screws, but I was hoping there might be something out there with a bigger countersunk head. M6 cap screws have a fairly small head and I can see them pulling in to the yellow tongue. I could counterbore the yellow tongue to take a fastener with a low profile head with a flat washer I guess. I don't have access to under the angle, so can't use nuts.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
