Finally found an Australian supplier for the drive belt on my little Waldown tool post grinder, Model C-0

Photo of the belt – yes I know it's not lined up properly but I had packed all away after a couple of jobs and then I thought should get a photo and post because other people will want to know where to get the belt.

Invoice shows the description of the belt and where I got it from and the price – perhaps a bit expensive but should last, postage of $15 is their minimum but you can pick up for free if you live out that way in Melbourne.

The length of the belt seems just about right, the belt cover fits up nicely – almost exactly where it should be for both size pulleys/drive setups.

Belt worked good and did not come off at any time even when it was not aligned hundred percent.

Had previously phoned the Brobo/Waldown people and they said they no longer provide the belts but referred me to a supplier who they said could supply a belt so I drove out there – near Dandenong in Melbourne – took my old worn out belt and they said "sorry mate don't do those and it's been years since we have done anything like that".

Anyway, after a bit of scratching around on the Internet and a few phone calls found this supplier – they can cut to the width you want - I got 19mm wide – they have a large stock of belt material with 450 mm being the smallest length they keep – thankfully it's just the right size for my little grinder – and they go up in lengths from there in steps of about 25 mm (if I remember correctly). Did the order over the 'phone, paid by card, delivered in 2 days.

Cheers
