Brainstrust,
Most of my wood working bits are either 8 or 10 mm round shanks and I have made extensions for both as in this photo. Bought 2 new bits and they came with a 8.4 mm or .325" hexagonal shank. What are my options, try and make a hexagonal hole for a new extension or make the new ones into 8 mm round?
Should I make a big sleeve to grip on the middle round section so as not to damage the cutting tips and machine the hex round?
Thanks,
Rgds,
Crocy.
