I bought an old cold saw a few years ago and now ready to set it up. Its a 15amp single phase model so its only semi industrial but good enough for my home garage. It has all the air lines and filters on it for oil to run through and cool the blade when cutting. I don't have the base cabinet , pump or filter tray to recycle the oil. I was thinking of making a water tight box for the saw to sit in and a put a hole in it with a flyscreen filter patch and run the hose down into the oil bucket to get an continous supply of oil via a small 12v pool pump. Does that sound about right for a basic setup or am i missing something ? I have never used a cold saw before !! normally the bandsaw or dewalt cut off saw but hopefully this new saw will provide smoother cutting.
