Waldo 20th January 2006, 07:46 PM G'day,
Is this a useless poll? (If you're in South Aus then the question is is this a usless pool? (allowing for you're wierd pronounication of words). :D

Kev Y. 20th January 2006, 08:43 PM Ofcourse its NOT a useless poll, you would be talking about Igor who lives down the road from me....... now HE is a useless poll!:p
Robert WA 20th January 2006, 09:31 PM It is about as useful as nipples on a bull!
doug the slug 20th January 2006, 11:02 PM Nothing is completely useless, you can always use it as a bad examplehttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon10.gif

Grunt 21st January 2006, 11:06 AM I think we need a poll to determine if it is appropriate to have a poll like this one.

Just checked: 42° in the shed, therefore unfit for human habitation.
Waldo 21st January 2006, 04:47 PM G'day,
39.5ºC in the shed, less than Zenwood's joint - but still too hot in there. I cam home after leaving my wifey at the hospital with Bub for MIL to bring her home so I could do some work in the shed but it's too damn hot.

At about 15:00 I had to admit defeat. I was dripping all over my jointer jointing some Red Gum for subsequent resawing; glasses getting little rivers on the insides...:(
Temp inside the shed had reached 42C on one side and 46C on the other. Blasted tin lid, and that despite having a sprinkler intermittently showering the roof.
Came inside, had a shower followed, quite rapidly, by a coldie:)
zenwood 21st January 2006, 07:06 PM Pic1: temp inside shed (42°)
Pic2: temp outside shed ... ! it's gone round the clock:eek:. I assure you it was not -18°; if the scale continues in the same vein, I estimate the thermometer was measuring itself at about 80°C in the sun. No wonder I start burning my fingers if I touch the tin too long.
Wongo 21st January 2006, 09:39 PM Completely useless. Can’t imagine anyone would be bothered to reply.
Caliban 21st January 2006, 10:00 PM Step into the present day boys. Buy an aircon for your sheds. If it's good enough for termite....
Ivan in Oz 21st January 2006, 10:13 PM I'm with you Redgy,
I was thinking Swimming Pool,
Something to get into,
