It would be no good for me, I chew my pens. In any case wouldn't they melt?

It might work, but you'd need to take the opposite approach to turning; ie: add layer upon layer by repeatedly dipping the pen insert/inktube in melted chocolate.

I'd suggest taping over the tip and the end of the inktube, and go for it.

Not sure that it's in any way practical, though.

Alternatively, just get a block of chocolate, cut a biro insert short, and poke it in.

Cheers,
Andrew

Then when you've finished the pen, you could make a chocolate teapot! ;)

It my sound silly (yep its silly) but turning a chocolate any thing would be a cool stunt.
And cool is the operative word
to get any sort od success you would probably have to work in a cool room.

chocolate is a verry tricky plastic, to getting the temperature right would bee the key.

the foodies carve abd shape all sorts of things
carve vegitibles, ice & butter sculptures........
so turned chocolate items why the hell not.:D

and the shavings you could either eat them or melt them down and start again.

cheers

Why the hell not? But maybe not turned. Cast them. And don't worry about pen inserts. Just have them write in chocolate too.:D

Hey .. they might work great on those 'white boards' :D

.. and no problem getting someone to erase them, either.:p
