Tool Specialists (Toolies) carry most of the basics - Vicmarc gear, chucks, some chisels etc. and can order most stuff in for you. Pretty good guys to deal with too. www.toolies.com.au (http://www.toolies.com.au)

Specialty Wood Centre at Toronto carries a heap of timber, burls etc - www.woodcentre.com.au (http://www.woodcentre.com.au)

If you find anyone else, let me know :)

What sort of work are you into? Are you a member of Woodturners of the Hunter? If not join up and you can get most of your woodturning supplies from our shop - at Club prices;) as well as access to our workshop.
Send me a PM if you would like more details and a membership application form

PS there is also a great woodturning Club in Cessnock
