Lots and lots of nice furniture here, mainly shaker-inspired, but some federal style stuff too. I visited the showroom/workshop and said I was a hobby woodworker: straight away the proprietor offered me a job. In another life perhaps...

The stuff is very impressive seen "in the flesh". Superb quality, and with lots of hand-making going on.

The website is nicely designed too.

Does that mean that they operate on a consignment basis? eg no sale no fee?

Here's (http://www.newyorker.com/critics/atlarge/articles/060213crat_atlarge) an article at The New Yorker on Shaker history, beliefs and practices, and how they influenced their aesthetic. (I know SilentC is not reading this, so I can use words beginning with "aesth".) Interesting links to zen too.
