Hope to start No 10 next week.
Have had cellulitus in my leg and was in hospital for three days,
it appears to be clearing up now," not able to do anything with leg up in the air." all the time
going to cockatoo on monday for some more scrap.

Hi PTC

Sorry to hear you were 'stuck' for a few days. Glad to hear you've made good use of the time and have been designing No. 10. As always, looking forward to seeing it.

Cheers
Wendy

Might Make two out of it,?
but it would be better to make a big one I think,
with big draws.
can not start in shed yet as my leg is still up the creek.
still sitting round with the leg up.

Yeah, I can see how you'd do two, but I like your idea of one box better. Is this one gonna be for Dan????;) ;) ;) ;)

Wendy, I think I will have to wrestle you for it! PTC, hope your leg is on the mend - I can't wait to see this next box. I saw your post and excitedly opened it, thinking that box no 10 would be there and waiting for comments! I like how you have numbered your posts too, with each new box.

I had the pleasure of meeting the folks at Cockatoo timbers back in 2003, when Tom and I were on our honeymoon, what a great place!

Cheers

TTIT,
You can look through my scrap any time your in the Area. (stanley)
I have plenty.

Wendy,
will keep eyes open for some Camphor, I used to live at Kilcoy
had a garage full of it, but sold it when i moved over here in 2003. i have always been into turning but the box thing gets to you.
6"X 6" scrap thats dry is the way to go.
going to docs on Monday, leg just not clearing up,ok sitting with it up in Air but standing it starts to swell up.
so if i go in shed at the moment will get Shot !!!

Have narrowed it down to two designs

Hi Pete,
I hope the leg is healing mate.
Do the left one it will look magnificant. I did the right one out of a Euc and it came out okay. Still have to work on the sanding.
Did you get your new henry Bros blade? What size was it?

Look after the leg mate.

Yes, definitely the box with four drawers - a great design!!

Hoping today (Monday) is going well for you and you get some good news by the time you read this.

cheers

The two drawer version for me, please. The shape of the blank would make it great for two wide flat drawers like trays. You could even add internal dividers, which, I think, would be something different in a bandsawn box.

Some how i thought you would all say 4 draws
what happens if i Stuff it up ?
Roger,
have not phoned Henrey Bros yet but it is on the things to do.
will let you know when i get it.

Wendy
thanks for concern, doc said wear a compression stocking
and wait and see how it goes
looks like next week before i can act normal Keep that leg up!!!!
2 votes for 4 draws and 2 for 2 draws.
will decide when i have sguared the lump up.
and looked at the figure, "spalting "at the moment it is a bit difficult to see
as it was cut with a chain saw.
