does any one no if u can get laser pointer parts ( to make like pens )

i rekon it would b cool

Oatly electronics sell the module you then need some thin brass tube to fit aaa batteries then a means to thread it etc. I have made one it was a lot of work and ended up being quite thick all in all is was not very successfull, in terms of selling them you'd be pushing it to make any profit. nobody makes kits that I know of

Especially as one can buy a pen-style laser pointer for about $10...

Jaycar Electronics used to sell the modules for about $15, but a complete mini-laser pointer cost $12.95:confused: They now have a laser pointer module for about $180 (!!!!!!!!).

I think the best bet would be to buy the complete unit, then either strip it down as parts or build a wood casing to fit over the standard unit, with a push button extender.
