i am in need of information on where to begin the process of diy building on a property, perhaps some of the standard costs involved, but most importantly the info posted from those who have done it would be best of all...i intend to build a small/medium sized bali/resort style , made up of a number of simple structures all linked, just like the open bali style...each building/hut will be a seperate room, and will have a conctete slab, full bali pavilion with thatched room and light weight walls to fill it in (perhaps airatted concrete) as well as full lenth opening doors...
anyway all thoughts on where to start (apart from the $$$, got to work on that for a bit longer) and some of the process involved, would be apprieceted...
perhaps those who have built there own home could share some of there experiences and things to be aware of, hidden costs etc...
i'm sure there are many folks here who would benifit from this appart from me...
