Hi, was just experimenting with photoshop and came up with this. Just had to post it for kicks.

I did it by distorting and skewing perspective's of pics and then overlaying on an existing cabinet.

took me a while, so I am just wondering if any one has examples of similar efforts and their methods used.

I often rough out designs in Lightwave (raytracing sw) before building a prototype, just to make sure it is buildable. Sometimes I'll render a few textures & bump maps over it, although I've never bothered saving the results.

Another proggy I use, Maya, is what they generated the movie "Shrek" with. It excels at organic texturing, not much chop for woodwork... unless you want to know what one of your pieces would look like if covered in bright green shag. :D

Gee Martrix,

I flicked to the pic first, and thought that you were going to tell us that you'd made this...:p :D
