ScottyThere'd be about 2 grand of historical value in that price.
PS: The eBay price of 2500 I mean. 2500 - 2000 (HV)= 500 = 2500 a cube.
Skew ChiDAMN!! 13th March 2006, 12:25 AM At 700mm wide (assuming that's an average and not an "at widest point") I'd be happy to pay the historical value... but not the extra $10 500 of hysterical value.
ozwinner 13th March 2006, 09:58 AM There was a whole tree of Jarrah at the Melbourne working with wood show two years ago.
It was over 6M long about 1M wide and slabbed into 50mm thick.
He wanted $600 per slab.
I didnt have the room or I would have bought some.
Al :)

namtrak 13th March 2006, 01:20 PM Maybe if the piece of wood still had the magistrate attached to it?
bsrlee 13th March 2006, 07:11 PM I wonder if Albany Courthouse is aware that their bench top is missing? Perhaps when His Nobs' water jug lands in his lap they'll notice & want it back.
Skew ChiDAMN!! 13th March 2006, 07:39 PM Maybe they found a pile of "Get out of Jail free" cards stashed underneath?
ozwinner 13th March 2006, 07:45 PM Funny bugger.
Al :p
