Hi all,

Had a Rotex 150 for about 6 months and have found it difficult to change from RO to rotary - the unit seemed to be very sticky and the the green mode selection rotary knob would not move into rotary mode easily. Rep said they do get a bit sticky but today, I can't even select rotary mode. Anyone else with tis problem?

TIA

Bloggs, unfortunatly its a common problem with the Rotex. The majority of users dont change it properly. You need to grab the pad and lightly rotate back and forth while you are turning the dial other wise the gearing stuffs up. You may need to take it back and get them to fix it for you under waranty and if your waranty allows get a new rep at the same time:)

riri, ita amazing how many "tradies" ive seen change the setting while the sander is going flat out. No wonder in every workshop ive been in 100% of them dont work. It dose give the sander a bad rep when its not waranted. The Festo Reps that go around selling should teach them how to change it properly rather than the common Rep response that was given to Bloggs that they "do get sticky"
