Building a small entrance pergola 3m long by 2.5m wide by 2.3 high. Have used 145x45 seasoned structural pine for the two beams (one of which is to be attached along garage wall). Also using 100x100mm square steel tubing for one corner cemented into ground to 1m depth. Now want to attach the end of this bean to the house (double brick). No cover on pergola and it will only have four rafters (120x45) between the two beams. Do I need to rethink and put another support pole in or will suitable angle attachment with dyno bolts work okay on the wall? Its in a sheltered location.

Gday mate, not a lot of help with the structural questions, other that to say that you should be using treated pine or something else rated as durable for your pergola, rather than normal structual pine.

Your description is a litle ambiguous, how about putting up a piccie / mud map / plan or whatever to help those with the knowledge to figger it out?
