I'm making a music box and am looking for a movement for it that plays Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer". Where can I find one? Thanks. -Nick

Gidday and welcome Nick (see I got this one right!! ;) )

I dont know that you will find anyone that stocks Bon Jovi music box movements from what I understand of music box movements most seem to be of the Amazing grace style and the old waltzes or such... Bon Jovi would I think be a) too recent b) to presently popular c) unless its one of his more ballad type songs to out there for a music box... just my thoughts mate

Personally Id like one with Hendrix playing "All along the watchtower" or ACDC playing "Jailbreak" or "TNT" although I reckon Janis Joplins "A woman left lonely" would make a bobby dazzler one as would "wont ya buy me a mercedes benz"... ZZ Tops "Legs" would be excellent as well... but hey Im weirdly wired :D and I doubt I will ever see them in a music box movement :(

Hows the USA mate?

I havent seen any livin on a prayer movements, but I did find this paper movement that you can make your own music with. I don't think I can explain it clearly so check out this website: www.shop4musicboxes.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYPRODUCT&productid=81. You can design your own movement.

What about something like this?

Record 20 seconds of anything on it and wire a microswitch to the box lid?
