Hi

I have been drawing up a chopper (bike) on paper beacuse I want to carve it out of wood. I have bought some books and magazines but these are from the US.

I need some advice on good quality tools to use that are reasonably inexpensive. Have been searching ebay for a few weeks but when things are as cheap as they are, there is probably a reason for it.

It will measure about 66 cm long, so it is not a small job. I will use a coping saw, jig saw and a drill for some of the larger sections but would like to know what would be required for the rest.

I would also like to know more about the Sydney woodcarving group if it is still active.

Thanks in advance

Steve
