What is the thread size of the standard, "before adapter", Supernova2 Chuck?????
I'm soon going to purchase either a Oneway 1640, or a Powermatic 3520B, Lathe. I have two of these Chucks. I don't want to order the wrong adapter from either, Oneway or Powermatic.
I'm don't know how to measure the threads of the outside of my present adapters, and I'm too shaky-handed to even try.
Anyone know the answer to my question? Teknatool doesn't... at least I can't find it on their website, or on any of the paperwork that came with my chucks, or on the three different PDF files that I've downloaded from their website.
Help, Somebody!!!!

38mm
what the supplier of the insert needs to know is the thread size on the shaft of your lathe.
If oneway or powermatic supply nova parts they will supply the correct insert to suit their shaft.
If not then go back to where you bought the original chuck and they will sell you the correct insert.
