G'day. Have the chance to get a log from a Persimmon tree. Does anyone have any idea how it will turn & what it looks like?

Supposed to be a streaky black/cream colour, kinda like ebony.
I have turned both ebony and quince, I would suspect that persimmon isn't too much different, being very hard, slightly brittle and worth the effort. ;)

Hi Gympietech, Persimmon is a member of the Ebony family, sometimes called Black and White Ebony. Very worth while to get a hold of, a lot of it if you can
