This is a deck I recently built. The photos were taken before the lattice had been attached to the sides and of course it was stained... will try to update the photos as soon as I can. Just giving an idea of the work I'm capable of. I have had extensive experience with carpentry, painting, tiling, repairs, plastering, building decks, pergolas, carports etc. If you're looking for some work to subbie out - please let me know! Just trying to get started over here in Australia.

Looks good mate, a bit of landscaping she'll look a million dollars! Well done, and good luck with finding some work.

Nice work Hillbilly.

Looks like you have a handy and attractive SWMBO there. (mean't in the nicest possible way ;) )

You seem to be trying to hide in one of the pics?

Deck to a pool - nice place for a coldie before a dip on a warm day. :)

Yeah thanks guys. It was still a work in progress when these photos were taken a month ago. It has since been stained and had lattice attached to the sides to cover up all the poles and crushed rock. I'll leave the landscaping up to the owner of the residence I reckon. Those photos were taken when my Aussie lady was over here in the USA helping me out with it. She's back home now and I'm coming out to spend a few months over there with her... and hoping she might help me out again - she really was a great helper!

Victoria - Bacchus Marsh to be exact! I've been over there twice before - we've been seeing each other for nearly 4 years.

No flies on you Damien! Yep - that deck is in South Carolina - built for a customer who kept changing her mind as we were building it... It's a miracle it turned out as good as it did. It looks a hell of a lot better now with the "finishing touches" of course.

After American women (I'm sworn of them after my marriage) - Aussie women are everything a woman should be! You Aussie guys don't know how lucky you are!
