This one is made from black bean. Breathing protection is strongly reccomended with this stuff as it will make you sneeze rather badly. The centre piece was a bit of 'tunbridge' log left over from another job.

Either way its a good looking plate, nice work. Dunno if I have the patience for that :D
Dont suppose you any pics of it being put together :confused: would love to them.:D

What's there to say? WOW!

Like Hughie, I'm intrigued by how you assembled it... anything like the way you did the fish plate? Not that I've any intention of trying for myself; you're way out of my league in terms of both patience and ability with segmented work. :(

The process for this last plate is very similar to the 'fish plate'. The only difference is in the assembly of the final set of pieces. Been working today on making a bowl form from similar patterns. That is providing some interesting and challenging problems. More later when it is finished.
