thicknesser blades

I have a 12" makita thicknesser that needs new blades. I have looked through a few catalogues and I was wondering if I bought bog standard blades if they would fit my machine, i.e. does one size of blade fit all?

Don't know about Makita specifically, but most blades are one of two depths. I'm sure if you talk to Henry Bros, they will know and be able to set you up correctly. They also offer a good sharpening service.
