Here my first go at the box making.
It was machined from rough saw scrap that was in the shed. Not game to try out on good quality timber straight up
I need a lot more practice but i liked making it so will try some more with some better quality timbers. It like learing to walk again
Practice is the go I believe

Thanks for the replies
I know the better timber won't make my work any better that is something that I have to practice on
It looks so easy when you see the demonstrators make them
All the other work out there is inspiring
I think that the next attemp will be a box to hold the jig and router bits

All the elements are there with this box: floating panel lid, dovetails, keeper inserts. Looks 1,000,000 times better than my first box. I think you should now be game to progress to some nice timbers.
