No taste, any of you, no taste.
I think I'll place a bid and sell my 'manufactured' one:p

At least mine looked like a lathe even though it was homemade, BTW I wouldn't have bothered to try and sell it, I'm making a linisher/disc sander out of it.

I admire the creativity behind that device. It's in the best bush tradition. Fencing wire would make it perfect.

Bugger, caught out:( , now, if you used a blunt roughing gouge and applied a fair amount of pressure I suppose you could call it variable speed:rolleyes:
What speed do those motors spin at anyway?
I also loved the range of accessories, didn't recognise one of them............except the plug;)

whilst necessity maybe the mother of invention.

Optimism here is not sufficient to over come the practical reality of a boat anchor. :D

ps it makes the MC range look like a Vic-one-tek-stubby! :p

Think I'll pass on that lathe, it looks way too powerful for me and my tools.

Got my bid in! ;) Failing that, I have a bigger version of the motor sitting under my bench in the shed - perhaps I'll replace the motor in my GMC lathe...
