I would just like to show you the 3 pieces I submitted last year as a furniture design student at Boxhill in Vic the table is jarrah and alluminium,the chair is alluminium and the black stuff is painted vic ash and the coffee table is orogan,I think thats how its spelt,At 46 yrs old I think you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Mind, whilst not convinced about aluminium and wood, I love brass/bronze and wood (nautical, see?) :)
