Hi all,
I'm trying to find out about dust collection machines and I have noticed something ... the new styles that have the motor and the fan in the same sheetmetal located in the centre of the 2 bags have MUCH greater cfm figures. Is this for real ? Is there THAT much of an increase in performance ? Are they (as a general rule) also better on their static pressure capabilities ? And what style of machine is better as far as noise is concerned ? I don't want to create too much of a racket - the goodwill over the fence might evaporate !
Pleated filter machines are also claiming greater filtration. Do they get clogged quicker too ? The price to replace a clogged filter is enormous ! I hope they don't get replaced too often !
Any thoughts welcome.
Cheers and goodnight !
