I’m trying to find a local supplier in metropolitan area for urea-formaldehyde adhesive. I need a local supplier as it is clarified a dangerous goods by transport companies making it difficult to get shipped.

One brand name I’ve found on the web is Unibond 800 but have not been able to find a local supplier.

Hi, I believe the Oz equivalent of Unibond 800 is a urea glue made by AVSyntec called AV 201 (http://www.avsyntec.com.au/PDF/Adh/AV201.pdf)....go here to find the nearest AVSyntec Distributor (http://www.avsyntec.com.au/Adh/distrib.htm) near you.

Hi Jolly,

Lincoln Sentry - Prestons - 02.8784 4400 are one of the main Sydney suppliers.

it's classified as dangerous goods as the liquid is formaldehyde - a declared carcinogen.

Cheers,
