A question for all you Domi owners regarding the two retractable pins on the front.

The one on the right has 5 index marks and a slot for a screw driver and a grub screw on the side to loosen it:confused:  I loosend it and turned it to see what happens. The slot for the screw driver seems to "click" in but what dose it acheiv:confused:  And why is it only on one side and not the other:confused::confused:

See page 12 of the book, the last chapter on fault correction. You adjust the pin if the midpoint between the 2 stop pins is not exactly in the midoint of the swivel range of the jointer bit. Or different distances from each work edge.

Or, as Dr Felix Festool replied to my similar question,

"Venn der mittelpunkt schwingengerate is nich so scnellmachen und fixfertig, mann musst mit einer handesgescrewdriver gefixen der knobbe auf die linkerseite so das cutten bit is exact vom links und rechts."

Pretty simple when you know.:D

Aussie males must NEVER read the manual. It is un-Australian. Only we Auslanders can do this, and tell all the others what's in there.:D

Toilet reading:rolleyes: or has the manual been used for another purpose in the smallest room in the house? I thought you Aussies were tough and used 40 grit paper. :D

That's true. We purchase the long 40 grit belts and use 2 belts per sitting.:D

Except for the hardcore Darksiders here, they just use their LN and LV shavings:rolleyes:
