Hi all

I am taking the plunge and about to purchase my first lathe. I have settled on the MC900 or equivalent after reading posts on the topic. If I take to turning then I will probably upgrade sometime in the future.

Can anyone advise who in the Melbourne area has the best deal on the MC900 or equiv. at the moment?

I would also be interested in a second hand one if there is one out there.

Regards

Ken

Have you checked Hare & Forbes? I understand that they've just moved their Melb. warehouse, and are offering specials to celebrate.

In Sydney, H&F regularly have ex-demo models (that's how I got mine:D )

Also, SuperCheap Auto seem to be getting rid of their stock of MC900 clones for a pretty attractive price.

Cheers,
Andrew
