Hitachi bandsaw

Localy advertised in an auction is a Hitachi B600A. I am interested in the resaw which runs a 3" wide blade.
Anyone know which model & size a B600A is, or a new price?

At $6000 I agree but I have heard of them selling secondhand at under 2000. I am looking for a small but heavy duty unit to take bush on my timber collecting trips.

If I'm successful I guess I will then be in the market for a realy realy long power cord.

Just checked the latest Carba-Tec Catalouge. They advertise a Hitachi 3" Resaw for $4899.
Not for me at that price.
