I have inhereted a McPherson Band Saw Brazing Unit without instructions. It gets too hot or not hot enough etc. Does anyone know how to work this unit. I can see a lot less frustration, broken blades mean a hault for a few days until a new one arrives. The idea of this machine is great but work it must or it is detined to be a"doorstop" forever.

It might seem silly but.
How good is you braseing technique on larger mild steel items?
I would expect that braseing thin tempered steel would not be the easiest to get just right.

Thankyou Soundman, but this machine is all electric and a challenge.
Darren, thankyou for your information but Telstra cannot help with contact phone nos. Could you get your father-in-law to suggest an agent or distributor as it would seem McPhersons are no longer operating independently. Thank you in anticipation.
