I hope this question about screws is allowed here.
(They're going into blackbutt, so I figured maybe it's ok.)
Anyway...

I want some screws with the following specs:

- Type-17 tip
- Gal (i.e: not merely zinc plated)
- Countersunk
- Square/Hex socket drive preferred (else Phillips)
- 8g, 10g, or 12g (prefer 10g)
- 30mm length (but would accept 25mm-35mm)

Does anyone know of a supplier/manufacturer of such screws?

(I can get zinc-plated ones from Buildex, but they don't seem to
offer them in gal. Stainless is too soft for rough treatment going
into hardwood, and usually quite expensive.)

TIA.

Ask Ray he may know of some somewhere, he is a member here too under his shop's name.

These will do the job(25mm), trouble is the next size is 40mm too long for your needs?
Ray has them in Neo and non-neo(plastic washer!)

Pauls Mid City Hardware in Castlereagh St Sydney sell square drive screws with heavy galavanising in 100 packs, 25 & 32mm, various guages. Not sure about type 17 point, but they are self drilling & countersinking in pine decking.
