Hi all,

I was looking at Jacko's magnificent Bookcase in the pics forum and thinking what joints did he use? (as you do) Then subconciously found myself thinking, ah yes, 10x50mm there, probably 8x40 there, could use 5x30 in there. Is this the sign of a demented and sick mind?

Regards

10x50.. err Rob

Most certainly the early stages of Domimentia, which can be nipped in the bud by half a bottle of Lagavulin and a cold shower. Act fast Rob or you will be a prime candidate for the Eric Olthwait Shovel Award (sponsored by Lignum).

It were hard to accept I were boring. Especially with my interest in Dominos and everything ;)

C'est la vie Mon Brave. C'est la vie.

Boring, you? Never. Have I mentioned my Arkwright's Coal Scuttle Rivets collection?

That night, as we talked excitedly about Dominos and precipitation, Patr and I decided we had so much in common, that we would form a gang, dedicated to persuing our common interests. Patr, with his long criminal record, was loathe to divulge his name, so we called ourselves... the Lignum Olthwaite Gang.

And did i mention the Domino is blacker than the Black pudding this morning

Its not Patr Eric! Its Gordon. Gordon Ottershaw, Barnstoneworth United greatest fan and it seems like only yesterday that we were humming this song whilst checkin the precipitation. Is it me or are blackpuddings not as black as they used to be?
The Ballad of Eric Olthwaite
There was a lad from Denley Moor
From Castle Street he came
He made this dark town proud again
Eric Olthwaite was his name.

Chorus:
Oh Eric, Eric Olthwaite
You're the one they're singing for
Eric, Eric Olthwaite,
The King of Denley Moor

Oh, he told the world of shovels
to be found in Denley Moor
Of the rainfall that was static here
At twenty-eight point four.

Chorus

Having checked the rainfall average
From the rain gauge he would run to
See Howard Molson put his shovel
Next to the other one.
It were a grate life then, bowed over wi rickets and working 94 hours a day. But we were happy. No puffy Playstations for us.

You did. I distinctly remember our conversation......

Lignum: Domi's very black today, Patr...
Patr : Yes, she is very black today Lignum...
Lignum: That's very black, that is,...... even the Lime Green bits are black
