If you want to copy as small image say out of a book and us it to produce a large template, graph paper is a nice easy way to do it. :) Not to say you couldn't scan the picture then use cad. I have autocad but learning how to use it is still on the to do list:o:o :o

The Polar Graph is perfect for my home made index wheel for indexed router work. It will be so easy to make a new graph specifically for any particular project indexed exactly as I need it. I've looked for just such a program and this is the long sought answer. Many thanks. Also bookmarked on my machine.

It's a piece of masonite that fits on behind the chuck which threads uo and holds it in place. Imagine a large oversize washer behind the chuck. The design can be seen in "The Art of the Lathe" by Patrick Spielman ISBN0-8069-4272-X.
